We absolutely loved our stay at Aquila! the buffet meals were outstanding, the staff was friendly, and the facilities were top-notch. the day spa was incredibly relaxing, and the safaris were an unforgettable experience. the knowledgeable guides made the animal sightings even more enjoyable. Aquila exceeded our expectations.

Had an amazing New Year's at a game reserve close to Cape Town. the safari experience was unforgettable, with knowledgeable guides and up-close encounters with elephants, lions, and more. the accommodation was comfortable, with clean rooms, a giant bed, and even an outdoor shower. the location was perfect for a quick trip, only a 2-hour drive from Cape Town. the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, even lending me a power adaptor for the night.

The signage could have been better, both within the property and on the main road. the food was just okay, catering more towards volume customers rather than providing a high-quality dining experience.

My stay at Aquila Private Game Reserve & Spa was absolutely fabulous! The package I booked included an overnight stay and two safaris, which I found to be excellent value for money. The cottage I stayed in was spacious and comfortable, with its own sitting area outside and multiple bedrooms. The buffet breakfast and dinner were both delicious, offering a wide variety of options. The safaris themselves were a lot of fun, lasting for several hours and led by knowledgeable and friendly guides. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking to enjoy a relaxing and exciting wildlife experience.

The bathrooms in the hotel were decorated in dark stone, which created a somewhat gloomy ambiance. Additionally, there wasn't a TV in the room, which may not be ideal for those who prefer having one.
